Key Features
The Futura M Pendant from Vistosi is a rousing centerpiece, presenting a spirited light through the elongated walls of a handblown Murano glass container. The pendant represents Hangar Design Group’s idea of bridging Venetian glass-making tradition with a strong, multi-faceted form. The design studio brings a sense of passion and curiosity anchored by beauty and practicality. The pendant says beauty by presenting itself with minimalist lines. The versatile cord suspension leads the eyes down to the graphic display of the metal band. The band shields the eyes from glare while adding a splash of color contrast. Artisans fill in the band with a Murano glass shade that sends ambient light towards the ceiling and a down glow across one’s tabletop.
One of Italy’s most prestigious and prolific names in Murano glassmaking, Vistosi specializes in hand-blown glass lighting fixtures with an expertise that can be traced to the 1500s. Officially incorporated as Vetreria Vistosi in 1989 with the Moretti family, Vistosi continues to invest in new technologies and methods of production compatible with the historical craft, resulting in an extensive collection of highly decorative yet durable lighting designs.
