Jakob Wagner is a Danish designer born in Copenhagen in 1963. With a first degree in design engineering and a second degree in product design from the Art Center Europe, Switzerland in 1992, Wagner established his own studio in 1993 in Copenhagen. First designing high-tech products for sport, professional and medical applications, Wagner shifted to an extensive line of home designs for international brands. The recipient of numerous awards, including three Red Dot and two iF Design Awards, Wagner is included in a permanent exhibit at the Museum of Modern Art in New York. His studio creates meaningful designs that challenge the senses by being simple, yet complex with inherent natural beauty that brings joy.
